Your BOO is freshly washed, but the next meal is already just around the corner and in everyday family life, there isn't always enough time for it to air-dry.
That's why we wanted to know for sure:
Can the BOO go in the dryer?
Little Myth:
“If clothes shrink, the dryer is always to blame.”
Not necessarily. Washing at a temperature that is too high can also cause textiles to shrink or lose their shape. Excessive heat in the dryer can further exacerbate this effect.
We don't want to rely solely on experience for our care recommendations.
That is why we had our BOO Signature tested at the Hohenstein Institute.
The result: The BOO Signature is dryer-safe.
The important thing is to choose a gentle program with a low temperature. This puts the least amount of stress on the material, and your BOO is still quickly ready for the next meal.
Our bibs are made of high-quality materials and are built to accompany your family life for a long time. To keep the print, shape, and fit intact for as long as possible, we recommend washing your bib at 40 °C.
Higher temperatures can put more strain on the material over time. This can cause the BOO to shrink, lose its shape, or the print to fade more quickly.
Even though your BOO is dryer-safe, air-drying remains the gentlest option for the material. If time allows, simply hang it up open after washing and let it dry completely.
If you need it to be done faster, your bib can handle a gentle cycle in the dryer at a low temperature.
A nice side effect: The movement in the drum helps fluff up the terry cloth, which often makes your BOO feel even softer and fluffier afterward.
Important: Always let your BOO dry completely after washing. Do not store it while folded up damp or wet, or in a closed container: this prevents unpleasant odors and mildew stains.

Spill, wash, dry gently, repeat. 🩷
You can find all detailed tips in our care instructions for the BOO.
Little Fact:
Sunlight can act as a natural stain helper. Particularly stubborn stains from carrots can visibly fade when dried in the sun.
Air-drying is not only gentle on your BOO, but can also help with stains. ☀️
Whether air-dried or in a gentle cycle: With 40 °C, low heat, and complete drying, your BOO will remain soft, beautiful, and ready for many more meals together.
